Havering's Night Time Economy

Havering is the 2nd largest London Borough with a population of approximately 227,000 people. Romford Town is the major metropolitan centre of Havering and the biggest town centre in East London. As one of the top 15 shopping centres in the South East, Romford has some of the best performing stores in the country, with 25 million visitors a year and an annual turnover of £500m.

Romford's appeal extends into the night time economy; the rapid growth in Romford’s entertainment sector home to 41 restaurants and cafes, 21 pubs and bars, 4 nightclubs, a 16 screen multiplex cinema, and bowling alley attracts 11,000 18 to 25 year olds on Friday and Saturday nights to big name venues such as JD Weatherspoons, Yates, Envy and VUE cinemas.
