Havering Nightlife Awards 2009

Havering attracts thousands each week with its exciting and vibrant nightlife. And the very best night time venues will be celebrated this June at the Havering Nightlife Awards 2009. Voting has now closed for the Havering Nightlife Awards 2009.

All of the borough's top Nightclubs, Bars, Pub and Restaurants are in the running for an award. But who will pick one up? Find out who won this year.

About the Nightlife Awards

The Havering Night Life Awards recognises those town centre businesses that demonstrate outstanding achievement in providing a welcoming safe and enjoyable night time environment for customers through good management and practice and an active commitment to discouraging anti social behaviour.

There are two types of award. The first is for licensed premises – Pubs, Clubs and Bars. Venues that enter these categories need to complete an application form and will also be visited by a panel of judges.

The panel is made up of representatives from the Police, Local Authority, Fire Brigade and Transport for London.

The 8 remaining awards are open to the public vote.
