What is Domestic Violence?
Any incident of threatening behaviour, violence or abuse: Psychological, physical, sexual, financial or emotional between two adults who are or have been intimate partners or family members, regardless of gender or sexuality.
Drop In Advice Service
This is a free service for Women and men experiencing Domestic Violence, to access advice and support on a wide range of issues including housing, legal and benefits. Clients can also be referred for free Counselling via the Drop In Service. A Support Group is available for women who have experienced Domestic Violence. Domestic Violence Floating Support Service
Floating Support is a flexible support service that provides emotional and practical help (advice and information) to women and children experiencing Domestic Violence who want to remain in their own home. The main focus of the service is to enable women to maintain their independence. Tel: 07795 175 550
Havering Women’s Aid
Provide safe temporary accommodation and emotional and practical support in a secure supportive environment for women and children who are escaping domestic violence. Tel: 01708 728 759
